1. What is Virtual Reality? Virtual reality (VR) is an immersive, 360-degree digital experience that transports you into captivating worlds and realities. Through the use of specialized VR headsets and controllers, you'll be able to see, hear, and interact with the virtual environment as if you were truly there. Our VR experiences at Design in VR let you step into captivating digital realms to explore, collaborate, and bring your boldest ideas to life through immersive learning opportunities tailored for educators, designers, and professionals across industries.

2. What is Augmented Reality? Augmented reality (AR) at Design in VR is a revolutionary technology that allows you to seamlessly blend the digital and physical worlds. With AR, you can visualize your products, designs, or even digital assets like Snapchat filters, right in your own environment. It's like holding the future in the palm of your hand - you can see how your creations will look and fit before a single prototype is made. AR empowers you to bridge the gap between the virtual and the tangible, unlocking new possibilities for innovation, exploration, and personalized experiences.

3. What is Artificial Intelligence? Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a revolutionary technology that empowers machines with human-like intelligence. At Design in VR, we harness the power of AI to elevate your creative potential. In our workshops and courses, we leverage AI to enhance the 3D models and designs you create. Our AI-powered tools refine textures, improve renderings, and apply finer details, unlocking new levels of realism and personalization. Generative design algorithms even assist in ideation, while real-time simulation enables quick iteration and optimization.

4. Are there any age restrictions to prevent me from experiencing VR? Yes, there are any (age) restrictions in place for our VR programs at Design in VR. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, the minimum age to take part is 10 years old. If any players are under 16 years old, an adult must be present. When booking your VR experience, please ensure that all guests meet the age requirements, as each workshop is clearly labeled with its respective age rating. We reserve the right to refuse participation if a guest's age is not suitable for the selected experience. Players under the age of 12+ require continuous supervision by a parent or guardian.

5.Will i need to sign a waiver? Yes, You can find our waiver Here. All participants are required to sign a waiver before embarking on their VR experience. For those under the age of 18, a parent or guardian’s signature is mandatory for them to participate. Please Note - This waiver is mandatory for new players.

6. Can VR make me feel sick / dizzy / nauseous ? While some may be more prone to these issues, our knowledgeable instructors is on hand to provide guidance. Simple tips like staying hydrated, trying a seated experience, or using our "passthrough" mode can make all the difference. We want every creator who steps into our virtual worlds to have an amazing, seamless journey. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know - we're committed to ensuring your experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

7. How much time should I plan for before my Design in VR workshop? For our external workshops held off-site, we recommend allowing 30-40 minutes of prep time to ensure our specialized equipment and WIFI setup are ready to go. For internal workshops at our Design in VR studios, we simply ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled session. This helps us streamline the check-in process. To further expedite things, we encourage customers to sign the required online waiver ahead of time, which can be found on our website.

8. Can i use my glasses? Yes, nearly all glasses will fit with our headsets, Very wide frames may not.

9. Is there any recommendation on what to wear? we recommend wearing loose, breathable clothing and closed-toe shoes to maximize comfort and movement. Avoid jewelry or watches that could interfere with the VR equipment.

10. Can i extend my workshop time? Yes, speak to an instructor before the end of your session. Subject to availability.

11. Can i experince VR with my collegues or students?? Yes, we use multiplayer VR titles that allow for multiple users to enter one VR enviroment so they can work and create collaboratively.
